Duties and Responsibilities

Contributes to the development and implementation of Worley nuclear and radiation safety systems and procedures for the project and performs work in accordance with Worley internal processes and procedures.
Assists in ensuring that no technical changes are implemented without prior approval as per EPC contract procedure and regulatory requirements.
Reviews design basis documents (Basic Design, Detailed Design) and calculations pertaining to vendor design.
Reviews the PSAR and FSAR for compliance with the nuclear and radiation safety Codes and Standards.
Monitors construction of NPP’s and associated structures; develops comments pertaining to non-compliance with design.
Reviews, comments and prepares drafts of client correspondence pertaining to nuclear and radiation safety.

Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering or Radiation Protection.
Strong technical skills; 8+ years of experience in nuclear and radiation safety on large scale projects.
Extensive knowledge of VVER- or other NPP-technology, as well as NPP siting, construction and commissioning processes.

Special Job Requirements

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential with the ability to communicate, influence and persuade.
Proactive team player, proven to be effective in a multi-cultural environment
Understanding Russian or Arabic is beneficial.
